Dr Lauren Oehlers

Dr Lauren is the newest member of the Hornsby Veterinary Hospital team.

She graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. The Hornsby area has been Dr Lauren’s home since she was a little girl, and she grew up dreaming of becoming a Veterinarian to not only help pets in need but also to form strong bonds with their owners.

Dr Lauren loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and looks forward to each day that brings different cases and opportunities. She has a keen interest in Australian wildlife and animal welfare. In between her degrees Lauren also completed a certificate course in captive animals where her love for Australian wildlife flourished and her passion in exotic veterinary medicine grew.

She spends her free time with her Shetland Sheepdog “Evee” and with her family and friends. She loves being outdoors and prefers the colder months, when she can spend time in the snow!
